Winnipeg Humane Society Visits Kindercare

The Lady Bug group got to enjoy a presentation from the Winnipeg Humane Society in Kindercare. Our presenter talked about all the animals that the society takes in and would you believe it? They once had a pig! The presenter also talked about what the society does and how they help animals. During the presentation the children got to interact with the volunteer dog named Lola. They learned how to interact with a new dog that they have not met before. They learned to hold their hand, in a fist and to let the dog smell around their hand so they dog could get to know them.
