I started reading a story to the Kinders this afternoon and Yohanes, one of our Kinders, said he wanted to try and read it for everyone. He knew every word and the Kinders paid close attention to him. It was incredible to watch.

The Kinders spent their Tuesday morning digging in our newest attraction, The Kinder Garden. Jessica created a beautiful space for the Kinders to dig and create flower arrangements. The Kinders couldn't wait to get their hands in it. Jessica had the opportunity to spend some time with the afternoon Kinders. She showed them an interactive version of the story "The Very Hungry Caterpillar". This morning was spent giving our Kinder room a makeover! The Kinders love to help every chance they get. Here are some before and after pictures of what we accomplished this morning. We walked to a nearby park this afternoon and spent some time in the sandbox. The Kinders took their shoes and socks off and enjoyed the warmth of sand in between their toes. It felt like the beach- well almost. A while back, the Kinders went to Rossmere Lanes for some bowling. They had so much fun and kept asking if we would ever go again. Well this week, we did. I posted the evidence of our wonderful time. Spring is finally here and the Kinders are taking full advantage of it! We sure love going for walks, games of tag, and exploring our community parks. On Monday morning, the weather was nice, warm and sunny so we went for a walk. We took a leisurely walk to Superstore and bought items for a future baking activity. The morning just flew by! |
