This week, both groups planted sunflower seeds in their very own pots. They filled the watering can, put the soil in the pot, added the seeds and watered them. Everyone was very excited and we can't wait until they start to sprout. We even took predicitions by all Kinders of when they think they will sprout! We'll keep you updated on who's closest!

Both morning and afternoon groups have been very interested in music as of late. They create their own instruments, are constantly singing and just rockin' out in general. Jen brought in some of her old Rock Band equipment and let the Kinders go wild. It is a ton of fun! Thanks Jen! This day was gorgeous. Warm, sunny and a perfect time for a walk. We took full advantage and strolled over to a nearby park.The Kinders loved this one and we look forward to taking more walks to new places! This morning was quite exciting! We broke apart and melted old wax crayons in star shaped molds and created our very own crayons. The Kinders absolutely loved this and keep asking when we can do it again. As you can see, they turned out beautifully and it was a great way to repurpose old crayons! Both morning and afternoon groups made their own batches of soup this week. We took two trips to Superstore and each Kinder picked out a vegetable that they wanted to put in the soup. The Kinders also peeled and cut their veggies, and put it in the pot. Yum! |
