The Kinders had been excited about show and share for days. The day had finally come where they got to bring something that they love from home and share it with their friends. They told us why their item was special to them and answered all of our questions.

This week we went for a walk to Rockspur Park and we felt like explorers claiming new land. You could tell that no one had been there since our snow storms. The snow was so deep, but Damian was very encouraging and kept saying that "we can make it!" Well, we did make it and we were all happy we did.
On Thursday morning, the Kinder room had its very own race track. All of the Kinders participated in creating a massive race track that spanned the entire room. Damian was particularly excited and kept saying that the track was "so big". It was really nice to see them working as a team and communicating so well with each other.
This week in afternoon Kinders we are learning about Fire Safety. One of the questions the kids had asked is was how do fires keep on burning? So we did an experiment to help answer that question. We lit 3 candles and put the fire out 3 different ways to help show the Kinders what fire needs to keep on burning. They even were each able to spray out a candle with water just like firefighters.
