On March 20th the children went to see a play of The Very Hungry Caterpillar at MTYP. This trip ties in with the project of performing that they are involved in. They also got a chance to explore The Forks. Here are a few photos from the day.

What is in our blood? That is a question that the children had. I gathered red Orbeeze, white pebbles and white rice to use in our blood experiment. The children read through books to figure out the parts of our blood, as well as watched a few videos. Next, we added the ingredients into a tube and added water. This is what our experiment looked like. |
