On Thursday afternoon, we had a visit from Cinderella. The Kinders were so excited, I would say 'star-struck'. Maikel even said his dreams came true. I love that we can provide such memorable experiences for the Kinders. Thank you Cinderella for reading to us!

This morning was spent listening to a princess. A disney princess named Ariel to be exact. She read for us 'The Little Mermaid'. It was pretty exciting and she even spent some time coloring with us. Thank you Ariel!
This afternoon, we had the privilege of hearing a well known member of our community read us not one, not two, but three really great books. Matt Wiebe came to see us, who is not only the MLA of Concordia, but Noah's dad. Thank you for visiting!
So far, this month has been really successful with visitors and the kids bringing in their favorite books from home. The morning Kinders had a visit from Andrew Mickelfield and he read "The Music in George's Head".
This month is filled with many reading activities, circle time with lots of stories, visitors from around the community who are coming to read their favorite books, and much more! We will keep you updated on our 'I love to read' activities!
On Friday afternoon, we gave the Kinders t-shirts that said 'Proud To Be A Dawn And Dusk Kid'. We thought it would be a neat idea to make it like a yearbook and have the Kinders sign eachother's shirts. It would be pretty awesome if they kept the t-shirts to serve as a memento, even if they won't fit for long.
On a cold blizzardy morning, Jessica brought in the nice fluffy snow inside to our water table. The Kinders added food coloring to water in spray bottles and colored the snow an array of colors. They also mixed colors to create new ones. It was so much fun, that they forgot about lunch time!
