We're almost there! Summer weather is coming and the Kinders are enjoying every minute of it. On Wednesday, we spent the afternoon soaking up the sun (and wind) at Rockspur Park which is a favorite of ours. The Kinders headed straight for the sandbox and took off shoes and socks shortly after. 

 Dancing is something the morning Kinders still love to do. We had the privilege of having Sara E come in and show us some Irish dancing and teach us a few basic tecniques. She also brought in special shoes to show us what Irish dancers can wear on their feet. We all agreed that Sara is really talented and a great teacher. Thank you Sara E!

The afternoon Kinders like to hide toy people, toy animals, even there own shoes when we go outside. They make a game out of trying to find what they've hidden. This day, I hid all of the tiny toy animals in our big bin filled with shredded paper. Their job was to resuce the poor guys. 

We took a little trip to a closeby park and spent our morning there. We are so happy that the weather is warming up and we can spend the majority of our days at different parks. We love outside! The Kinders are always asking where we can go to next.

We love how the weather is (ever so slowly) warming up! We are spending a lot more time in the outdoors and exploring our 'pond' in the back forest. We also found an island, went 'fishing' and made a 'campfire' with sticks. So fun!

The morning Kinders love to dance! It seems like they are always wanting music to be played so that they can dance the morning away. Aman told us that she will be doing a Bhangra dance (a traditional Indian dance) for a recital and the kids said they wanted to see her dance. It turned into a lesson for a few of the other Kinders. Take a look!

On Wednesday, we had our First Kinder Potluck! It was a huge success! We set up all the food in a  buffet style so the children could choose what they wanted to eat or try. They were really excited to see all the food that was brought and some tried things for the very first time.  The children are already coming up with ideas of what they would like to bring next time and what other things we could serve. Thank you so much to the parents that contributed and we will start planning our next one!
