Jungle Emergent Project: How Tall?

This week in Kinders we have been continuing our learning about the Jungle.

​We discussed how tall the Kinders thought different Jungle animals were and than compared that to how tall they actually are. First I showed them how tall a foot is. Than we discussed the different animals and I marked how tall they are on the white board. At the end we compared it to how tall the Kinders are.  The next day the afternoon Kinders were showing the other kids our activity and telling them how tall some of the animals actually are. Their favorite was the Giraffe that can grow 11 feet tall which they discovered is taller than our ceiling. We even expanded this activity to another day so we could add some more animals to our chart. ​
