GET OUTSIDE! Staff Edition

The team at Dawn and Dusk spent the day in a forest in Gimli Manitoba on Saturday September 24.​

The team learned the safety and appropriate way to introduce some new ways of outdoor play to keep our kids inspired by the great outdoors. 

This included:

• Plant Identification/Safety
• Tool Use/Mallet Making**
• Fire Starting***
• Group Games
• Whittling**

**Please note that these items will not be introduced to the program until Spring 2017. 
***Please note this would only happen in a safe environment for fire (in-service with fire pit)

Permission slips will need to be signed by parents in order for any children to participate in this part of the Dawn and Dusk Program
