The gym was set up with different types of activities. They were all Halloween inspired. A Maze, ropes for swinging, spider webs for climbing/creeping through. The children had a lot of fun it was amazing, 

This week, I put out crayons, paper, glue and some leaves that I brought from outside and invited children to use their creativity for leaf art. Those children came up with different pieces of art, gluing leaves on paper, coloring some leaves which were under the paper and drawing people walking on the leaves. They even made rainbow glue by using crayons on paper and covering it with glue.

Today October 25, 2018 I planned to have gym where the children will be playing with the parachute. We were playing the following games :Pop-corn, Switch Colors, Shark attack and cat and mouse, the children love it and they even love cleaning up after. 

Sometimes our well-loved toys need a little TLC, and this was the case for a wooden dollhouse & wooden fire station in Building & Construction. On this morning I offered a toolbox full of various screwdrivers and allen keys to the children, and they wasted no time in repairing their favorite toys! The kids really focused on finding the right screwdriver fit, discussing whether a flat head screwdriver would work in a star screw shape, and checking if certain allen keys could do the job of a screwdriver. At the end of this adventure the children felt accomplished and ready to fix anything!  

Today on our outdoor day, the favorite spot to head to is the forest. First tents had to be set up and supper was being made. There are always an abundance of sticks and today they were used as a rifle and walking sticks. The forest also makes a good spot for hide and seek and a favorite, mantracker. Much good fresh air and exercise is had by all the children.

This week in Building and Construction we had a hotel game going where the children created a hotel room. They were all having so much fun with the play.
Dylynn's masterpiece was a train, she built it by herself and she let other children play with her creations. 

It's all fun and games in the Film Room each day, as the kids take out chess and card games to play. 
The staff play with kids, and kids play with each other. Soon, friends want to join - one after another!
​What a fun way to get the wheels turning before going to school a full day of learning.

 The ultimate marble run was created this morning. All they needed was old packaging, a few blocks and of course, a marble. These children used their building and communication skills to create something awesome together. Another inventive morning spent and Dawn and Dusk.
