We played Pin Ball knock down where the children enjoy playing this game because its competitive. We split the group of children into two teams. Each team had to protect their pins from being hit by dodge balls thrown by the opposing team. - Winnie & Andrew

In the art area today we were doing a craft with leaves and sticks. At this time of year the trees are dressed in beautiful colors of gold, orange, and red. So we took these leaves and the children created some leaf mobiles, also some beautiful leaf pictures using leaf rubbings and some leaves were glued onto paper. The children loved the way the leaves came to life when they did the rubbings.

Welcome to Block Area where parents come to get their children and they don't want to go home because they are having fun with the toys in the area. The children like to play with the Lego. They ask us to save their masterpieces so we could take pictures, show them to others or so they can keep building them the next day. The children enjoy building towers, they even build towers that are as tall or taller than them. 

This week in the Film Room, the children have been interested in playing games and doing puzzles. This morning, a restaurant opened! The children running the restaurant rotated who were the customers, waitresses, cooks and the cashier. There was even a lounge if you just wanted to come in and relax. A food critic stopped by as well to see how the new restaurant was doing and you will be happy to know that everything checked out just fine! 

The morning weather was perfect for our first "Everybody Out" of the new school year! The kids rushed to the forest to make forts, hang hammocks, and create delicious mud muffins with our mud kitchen supplies. We can't wait to go out again!
