Program Details

Our JAM program at Dawn and Dusk is available to any grade 4/5 student who shows the characteristics of a leader and act as a role model to the children at our centre. 

In order to become a JAM, "applicants" have the opportunity to go through an application process to become selected, much like a job interview process. Grade 5 applicants must have parental permission, write and submit reasons as to why they believe they will be a good addition to the JAM program and finally sign a contract which will outline duties and expectations of their role in the JAM program. A package of all information and contract will be also sent home for parents.

JAM's also see many "perks" throughout the year! Grade 5's in the JAM program are offered a spring break outing as a team builder, an end of year lunch at a nearby group preferred restaurant (previously we have gone to Famous Dave's and Mongo's Grill).
