This week, we started our Minute to Win It competition. The children were given smarties on a piece of paper towel and they had to use a straw to suck the smartie and one at a time move them to another piece of paper towel on the other side of the table. However many smarties they moved that's how many they got to eat! For some kids that meant twenty and for other kids it meant five. Avery.P was our winner and we will be keeping track of our winners on a score board for all the weeks to come.

Club 4/5 became plumbers for a day as a new game called Toilet Trouble had arrived. Much like their other favorite game Pie Face, each player would spin the paper roll revealing the number of times you must flush the toilet handle. Be careful though, you may get a bit of a splash! - Andrew Welcome back to another soaring year in Club 4/5 as we reach for new heights...literally. We jump right back in with a group of children who decided to test their skills on building a tower out of plank blocks. It started as a fun task but then took a serious turn as the sky became the limit, or perhaps just the 4/5 room ceiling for now. Of course building is fun but not as exciting as the tear down at the end of a build. Can't wait to see where the next tower takes us. -Andrew |
